Research & Publications

I study fast radio burst populations with methods designed for the realities of modern, real-time astronomical surveys.

Within the CHIME/FRB Collaboration, I use population models, simulations, and Bayesian inference to study the sources and environments of fast radio bursts. By accounting for how survey selection effects shape the bursts we detect, I connect CHIME/FRB's growing sample to the underlying astrophysical population.
